I really enjoy this app. I check it daily - local area and where Im going to be traveling. Really like the day/week/month choices.

...that there were so many earthquakes happening all over the world all the time. Really like the ability to see earthquake history too. This is a really great app, and I cant believe that its FREE. Its one Ill keep and use often. Update: Thanks for fixing the distance calcs.

Very nice app, usefull and informative. Also quick response for suggestions. Please keep improving this app which is already better than any other paid one.

Why this app is the best earthquake app out there right now: 1. It is well designed and easy to use. (Click as many buttons as you can to get a good feel for the app) 2. It has historical data, up to 30 years worth! 3. It has a map AND a sortable list view 4. It has search, with autocompletion built-in!!! 5. You can adjust setting to see as many or as few earthquakes, by magnitude range. Cool! 6. You get a bunch of facts and can even watch videos. This is definitely worth $1.99 or more. Very glad I grabbed this now vs later. Update: It now has push notifications. Definitely 5 stars!

Ive tried 3 other competing earthquake apps and this one is the best. For the simple reason that you can select any time period and magnitude range you want. Its not perfect yet- there are a couple minor issues that need fixing. But the developers are very responsive (more so than any Ive come across) and Im sure they will be fixed. For its main function, this app is perfect, and fast. If you plan to use it a lot I would definitely upgrade to the Pro, for the dedicated servers.

Just upgraded to Quakezones Pro for the push notifications and better servers, but this free version has tons of great information!

One of the best , if not best , apps to provide this kind of service to the iPhone community . Plenty of info from everywhere , I enjoy watching the moving earth around me in Cali . Five star recommendation an all-a-round great app . If your job has you on the road , as I do , you have to know whats ahead of you . This app can help you plan a route if you can make a detour and together wit the gps and chp ie:traffic reports just might help when the big one hits Cali . The way its lookin , we just might have it soon . Everyone , everywhere , come together! Right now !

Great app. It would be nice if you could chart frequency and severity over time and region.

I just want a simple app to track quakes in my region and share them on fb. This app seems to have it, but doesnt deliver. Directs me to press a button that isnt actually there. Sigh. Will keep searching.

It worked fine for a while, but now will only display quakes for the last 30 days. When I press the button for 7 days or 1 day, the app closes.

Like every 3 secs. Not worthy the time

It will show you where quakes hit but in two years has never sent me a notice, like it claims it will!

Touch a button to view something else and crashy, crash, crash, CRASH! Hope thats fixed soon.

iOS 4.2 - It crashes first time an individual historical record is accessed; historical data is not accurate always. Recent records are okay.

app loads but does not show any data. There is an XML parser error so nothing can be displayed.

Wonder why it did not pick up the swarm in Canary Islands?

I have had no problems but dont use the notifications. I like the historical earthquakes as the other EQ app I use limits by number and hence quickly loses original event when there are swarms or many aftershocks.

Ur app cant connect to Facebook like it clams it can. Disappointed and dang I paid for the pro version too. Crap

The app is pretty cool but it crashes on iOS 5 please fix.
