Nice but frequent crashes

Nice and usefull app, but frequent crashes (iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4).

No correct information

Missing Fukushima and others

Great application, but freezes

Does what it says; would have been very useful if it didnt crash everytime the user hits the list tab. The application completely froze and would not start up again without reinstallation, which is a real bummer

Italy

Very good, but where is todays Ascoli 2.7 Richter 32KM 08.35? 09.03.2010

Simple and effective.

A lot of useful and cool data. Its like a mini earthquake factbook that I can take anywhere without worrying about carrying around a huge book. This app also has a very simple yet effective UI that wont be dreaded everytime you run the app. The only thing I didnt like was how the video section was structured. Other than that, its a great app. 5/5.

Wicked Neat.

This is a really cool app.. you get to check out where earthquakes occurred all over the world... their magnitude and depth, and the actual GPS coordinates to check out the locations of the earthquakes in something like Google Earth. Ive been waiting for something like this to come to the iPhone for a looong time. A huge bonus was that it has historical data as well! Kudos, AppDudes.

Wrong magnitude compared to USGS

Where does the earhquake data come from? It doesnt seems it come from USGS. Chile earthquake was 8.8 magnitude not 8.5. Can we pick which server the data comes from? I rather use USGS. Also the apps crashes frequently. Other wise this free app beats many other paid apps on the market right now! Update: they fixed the magnitude. I hope this is not done manually. So up the stars to 4. Would be a 5 if they reported the correct magnitude to begin with.

Decent App

The only bug seems to be that the historical data doesnt go back as far as advertised, otherwise no problems

I had no idea....

Whats going on around me. I would gladly pay for this app. Get it while its free. You have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain.

QuakeZones

Good application for monitoring quakes around the world. Good information tagged to the colored pins. Great for a quick look at what is shaking where.

Nice App

Really well done and better than the one I paid for.

Sweet

This app would be 5 stars and worth $5 To me if it had alert ( push ) for quakes over 4 in any area of the world also it would be awesome to see a map of the plates faut line areas and See a color pattern showing potential danger . Also tsunami alerts and info links or more video on theory this is a really nice app good job *** update gets 5 stars** Thanks for the push You guys rock!

Quakezones

Fantastic. Very well implemented

great app

I thinks its a great app and its for free so is even better...The only thing I notice is the time of the report. It would be good to being able to customize time zones. For an example: Its recording right now an earthquake and it says that it was at 9:32 PM, but in my country isnt that time yet...so local time according to our location would be nice...

Back luck or just worthless?

Installed app. Earthquake felt in California, server is offline. Thus no data at all... Didnt work when I needed it!

Its down

I thought this app was great until there was a 7.2 in Mexicali today which most of Los Angeles felt & the app has not worked all day. Downgrade from 5 stars to 3

A beautiful, useless app.

Looks great but it choked on its own XML data feed on the first significant event in Southern California in 15 years. Please dont write anymore time sensitive apps. Even for free this doesnt cut it.

Quake info offline after todays7.2

Really why did it have to choke ( no quake data) after a scary eathquake? I ended up going to usgs.gov. Please work as described. I used to like it. But very disappointed today.

Time zone

App is great and is current. However, it doesnt give you your local time when a quake actually occurs. It should because Im lost when it comes down to find out what time it occured and and I dont want to do the research online to find out then calculate the time myself. This app should do that already but it doesnt.

Good but one thing...

How do you zoom out in map mode? The same in mappity quakes? Generally google maps.
