Wrong magnitude compared to USGS

Where does the earhquake data come from? It doesnt seems it come from USGS. Chile earthquake was 8.8 magnitude not 8.5. Can we pick which server the data comes from? I rather use USGS. Also the apps crashes frequently. Other wise this free app beats many other paid apps on the market right now!

Update: they fixed the magnitude. I hope this is not done manually. So up the stars to 4. Would be a 5 if they reported the correct magnitude to begin with.
